NCCF Challenge Men's Winner & Thanks to Gina!

NCCF 1 yr anniversary party!

So yesterday wrapped up February and I must say the last week has been filled with wins all around. Muscle-up achieved- Huge win. First Open WOD- Huge success(see previous post). 1 yr anniversary party at NCCF- lots of fun.

Completion of the Paleo-Challenge a thrilling success.(I have a hard time finishing things started, so this was a real confidence builder). The icing on the cake was winning the Paleo Challenge. That's right, I was selected by the NCCF team as having made the most progress and been the most successful in the 6 week Paleo diet challenge gauged in benchmark workouts, physical improvement & keeping to the diet.
Celebrating w/ Heady Topper!
So for the win I received a 1 hr massage and a free months tuition! Awesome! Next stop, the Moon! I must thank my lovely wife for all of her awesome food purchases and meal planning. She definitely deserves much of the credit for support and laying ground work for a success. I have no doubt she would have won the women's award had she not been injured for most of the challenge. Also- the Meg and the Ben at NCCF were awesome. Always attentive to my questions and needs with excellent feedback on the food logs if there were problems. As full on practitioners of the Primal meal art, they have a vast history of experience to draw from. Definitely a shout out to the previous winner Willow for really getting us up to speed on how to best meal plan and great starter recipes! All in all, a success. We will definitely keep up the diet, except add in a bit'o white rice, a glass of wine or beer with a very rare sweet at the holidays. Thinking 80/20 or 90/10 as a percentage. Am excited to see if we keep this up how much more fantastic body development and physical improvement can be achieved.
